Shooting Range

Good afternoon all!!! Hope your Monday is going as well and productive as mine is. If you read the post below this one, then you know some changes are coming to the site. This post is the beginning of the new What A Day...Everyday!!! So a little over week ago my boo, Ash Mc, and I went to the shooting range with one of her homeboys. It was a new experience for the both of us, but it is something I could get used to doing on a regular. Something about guns is exciting and interesting to me. Anyways, we had a blast. My favorite gun was the AR-15, even though I was afraid to use it at first because I thought the kickback was going to be too much for me to handle. It was not bad at all. I think Ash's favorite was this pearl white 38 millimeter. We also got to use a Glock 40. We had a blast and I'm sure we will be back at the range before long!!! Enjoy our pics below!!!

What A Day...UPDATE!!!

Hello, Hello, Hello! It is me...yes Xtina!!! I know, I know it has been almost over 2 weeks since I have posted anything but do not worry because I'm not gone. School started for me a week and a half ago. It is my senior year and I had to make sure I was getting off to a good start. Anyways, things are well under way and now I am back!!!

Now for the update on the changes coming to What A Day... Everyday! As you know, there is a daily title or topic for each day of the week >>> Not anymore! I came up with the idea for this site because I felt like my life was eventful enough to have a TV show, but since I do not have a show I started this blog. Well I have realized it has really been nothing like I envisioned it to be. I really want all of you to know what actual craziness I have to deal with on a regular basis...and then you can let me know if my life is extraordinary, or if you are dealing with some stuff that is just as crazy!!! So be looking for a new and improved site in the very near future! Thanks for all your support and continue to send your feedback.

Tasty Tuesday

Hello Guys!!! I know we have been slacking on the weekly post... So we have decided to switch it up. Because school is going to be taking up most of our time we have decided to just do random posts of whatever we feel like we want to share with you guys! I will try to keep up on the Tasty Tuesday's and Celeb Thursday's as much as I can, but unfortunately there will be no consistent post of this every week. But until next time enjoy this Tasty Tuesday!!

This week I will be sharing with you some fun facts that I found!!

1) How to stop sweating so much: Have you tried every antiperspirant on the market and still sweat a lot?

Try using one of the new clinical strength formulas, which have the highest amount of active ingredients. It helps if you apply it a night too. This way it has plenty of time to absorb into your skin and start working. Apply a coat in the morning also.

I can say that applying at night really works! I started doing this because I would forget to put deodorant on in the mornings. Even if I did forget that next morning I would be good to go forthe whole day!

2) How to get rid of a Hickey/ Passion mark

We all have been through this situation, where you have a hickey and freak out because you don't know what to do!! A hickey is a bruise that results when blood vessels are broken beneath the skin. They usually take about a week to subside, but you can speed up the healing process by applying a cream that contains vitamin K. Until then concealer is your best option!!

3) How to get rid of those unsightly bikini line bumps!!

A too-close shave or waxing can make hairs split and loop around just under the surface of the skin. As these off-kilter hairs grow, they push up against your skin, causing inflammation and redness. Rubbing the bumps to free these trapped hairs can only make it worst!! Instead apply an OTC acetylsalicylic acid (aka aspirin) solution twice a day for 2-7 days to gently exfoliate the top layer of your skin.

4) How to make bright polish POP!

Don't you hate when you polish your nails with this fabulous color and it barely shows up!! Before using a light, neon polish apply a coat of white polish underneath as a base coat. This will help to bring out the lighter color making it more bold!!

5) Un-clump that Mascara!

Eww I can't stand when this happens. This could be one reason why I go through the stuff so so fast. But I found an unusual trick. Add a drop of Coca-Cola to loosen it up! Coke is good for everything, from cleaning blood off the highway to restoring mascara! Wow... should we be drinking this stuff??!!

Vikki's 22nd Birthday Trip to ATL Shawty!!!!

Chrissy and I just came back from Atlanta yesterday (always on the move lol) and I definitely was not ready to come back! It was a nice weekend, but boy are we worn out!! We didn't get a chance to go to the Velvet room on Friday like we had planned to because of the rain. But I am sure we will have another chance to go... like in a few weeks lol (ALABAMA vs. Virginia Tech @ the dome ROLLLL TIDE!!!) On Saturday we went to "Central Station" with my homegirls Kim and Franques. It was a very interesting place, it was huge, they played good music, and they had $2 drinks all night!... But all the hood was out! Especially the big girls (had to be at least 200lbs) dancing on stage bent over with their thong out, had no shame!!! I should have taken a picture of that!! Guys were dancing on them and rubbing on their asses like it was cute!! OMG. And there was a guy that was tryna catch a nut on Franques while dancing with her LOL!!!! When we left we headed over to this after hours spot called "the Crib." As soon as we got there we were swarmed by all types of ratchet ass dudes!! Watch out ladies Alabama and Georgia guys have definitely been hit with the disease Ratchettocious!!! Surprise Saturday's

Every Saturday, we will post something random that we want to share with you! You never know what our crazy minds will think up! You will not want to miss Saturdays at What A Day!

Last week, I got caught up in a drinking game with my friends. I was the one that lost and got fucked up... real quick!! We finished off bottles of Patron, Grand Marnier, Arbor Mist, Moscato and a half bottle of 3 olives grape vodka (I DO NOT recommend this... it is so nasty!) The 3 olives is what sent me over the edge! This is what gave me the idea for today's post. Everybody can enjoy a good drinking game. So here are some that I found, including some that we played that for you enjoyment! Once you play them leave a comment to tell us what you think!

1) Rhyme Time (vocal) - Make a sentence with the last word a rhyming word. The next person in turn then has to make a sentence with the last word rhyming with the last word of the previous sentence. The person who messes up or takes to long to respond has to drink.
Example
I say: I like that Truck.
You say: He looks like a duck.
This is not as easy as it sounds..especially while drinking!!

2) States (vocal)- Everyone playing must say a state. No state can be repeated! Whoever messes up or hesitates must drink!
* This game can be modified to another topic such as colors, cereal brand names, liquor names or
types of cars. You can make up what ever you please!

3) Quarters (skill) - You will need a quarter and a small drinking glass. Fill the glass about 1/4 full with your choice of alcoholic beverage. The object of the game is to get the quarter into the glass. This is achieved by bouncing the quarter off of a hard surface, a table or counter, into the glass. If it goes in, the person can choose who ever they want to drink what is in the glass or they can choose to take the shot themselves. If the quarter hits the rim of the glass, that player can "chance it," getting to go again. However, if they miss the second chance they must drink the shot themselves.

4) Beer Uno (card)- The rules are the same as in regular Uno, but there is no keeping score. Instead, every time you draw a card from the center pile, you must take a drink. When one player goes out, the other players must take one drink for every card remaining in their hand.

*I found this one off of the internet, but I thought that we made this up!! In our variation we use liquor and keep score. The score is kept by adding up the remaining cards in each players hand. Actions cards are worth 20 points a piece and the other cards are worth their face value. The person with the highest score at the end of each game must take a shot!

Good Evening!! How has every one's day been? Sorry about the lack of post this week, and for this one being so late (but I feel like I still needed to post it). A lot has been going on with us this week. Chrissy is trying to finish up her summer school work and we are getting ready for school to start up next week, you know how that goes! I promise we will do better with the posts in the upcoming weeks.

Today some pretty shocking stuff is going on in Hollywood:

But this time it's not Kim. It is her older sister Kourtney, 30, who just has announced she is pregnant and is due in December! She has also revealed that the father of the baby is her on-again, off-again boyfriend Scott Disick. Kourtney's last break up with Scott was aired on the season finale of Keeping up with the Kardashians. She says that her and Scott are really happy being back together again. The rest of the family seems to be happy about the news. Kim shared her excitement through twitter today through this post, "Congrats to my sister Kourtney who is pregnant! I am going to be an auntie!!!! Aunti Kimmie!!!!" I bet the whole family is happy she almost waited until she was to old to have any children! But I wish her the best of luck! I guess we will have to tune in to Kourtney and Khloe take Miami to find out more of the scoop on this story. The first episode airs this Sunday at 9pm cst on E!

Beyonce in a lesbian movie???

It has been confirmed that Beyonce has been scheduled to star in Tipping the Velvet, a story about a lesbian love affair! Want to know what kind of love scenes she will be invovled in... check out the video below. This is the British adaptation of the same movie. Skip to about 3:03 for the good stuff...

I don't know how I feel about this role right now. I am shocked but I will have to see the actual movie trailer to know if I will be interested or not.

Football player gets suspended for the season!!!

So, you ask what could he have possibly done to deserve this type of punishment? Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth walked out of a Miami jail Friday after serving 24 days out of a 30 day sentence for killing a man while driving under the influence of alcohol. Shortly after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter last month, the NFL suspeneded him indefinitely. He will be under house arrest for 2 years following his release.

He also is required to donate $2,500 to MADD(Mothers Against Drunk Driving), serve 8 years of probation and submit to random drug and alcohol testing throughout his probation.

Stallworth was driving his black Bentley GT east on the the MacArthur Causeway, which connects Miami, Florida, to the South Beach area of Miami Beach, when he struck construction worker Mario Reyes on the morning of March 14, according to prosecutors. His BAC was 0.126. Reyes, 59, reportedly was heading to a bus stop after work when he was stuck. Court documents said he suffered critical head, chest and abdominal injuries" and died at the hospital.

His driver's license was permanently revoked.

Dancing with the Stars shocker!!!

I felt that I had to post this one up for my mommy. Jermaine and Letoya Jackson are reportedly interested in joining Dancing with the Stars! Is it just me or does it seem like they are trying to capitalize off of Michael's death? But I won't bash them yet, because I thought Lil Kim was going to the joke of the show but she danced her ass off!!

Sorry guys for slacking on the post over the weekend. It was a crazy, busy weekend. You all know how things can get over the weekends lol! So, anyways, starting back off strong this week with Tasty Tuesday's!!

• Being an ex- Hooters Girl, I have grown to love make-up! So I just had to share with you my most favorite thing in my make-up bag right now. Recently a new type of mascara has hit the market, vibrating mascara! I have had the chance to use the one by Maybelline called Pulse Perfection. This mascara is awesome!! If you are like me, not one mascara will do. Everyday calls for a different type of drama.

I would put Pulse Perfection in the wear anytime category. It separates each lash as you apply with the pulsating brush that vibrates 7,000 times per stroke! Provides clump- free definition, intense color and shine. Builds lash volume, length, and adds curl.

Some other mascara I would recommend right now is Rimmel London Sexy curves, Victoria Secret Very Sexy, and Maybelline Lash Stiletto (enriched with vitamin B5 to make your lashes pop by adding super shine and length!!)

• I don't have a man right now, but this cologne made me wish I did so I would have some one to buy it for. Victoria Secret Vertical for men. This cologne smells like heaven. It would make me eat my man right up! It is a bold blend of crisp bergamot and lavender with rich suede and amber. I would definitely recommend this as an ideal gift for any occasion!

• This next product I have personally used myself and LOVE IT! The Ped Egg!!! Now wait I know you are probably rolling your eyes and thinking I have heard enough about this thing through infomercials, but it is an awesome product. If you are like me and are a struggling collage student, we can't afford to run and get a pedicure the recommended every two weeks. That's just not happening! But you can't have jacked up feet during flip flop season... So, for just $10 you can get your feet right yourself! This product is great for touch-ups in between pedicures. It scrapes away all of the dead skin, using more than 100 microfiles, leaving your feet feeling softer and smoother! This product is available at Wal-Mart

How do you get a guy out of your house... without being rude??

So let me tell you about this dude that was over my [Xtina] house the other night. I just decided to try and make some new friends, connect with some new people, which now I know you can’t do with these rachet Tuscaloosa boys! I invited____ over to chill and POW, but little did I know how bad this would turn out. So he gets here around 12am, and acts like he never burned before. 2am rolls around and he is still here acting like he is too messed up to leave. Talking bout how he can’t see or move. So I give him some eye drops thinking that would get his ass up off my couch. Well he still didn’t move so I went to bed, grabbed my box cutter, and turned the A/C off (thinking maybe if he gets hot he will leave). I wake up at 7am and this boy is STILL ON MY COUCH!! He wakes up and goes back to sleep (pictures below). I finally told him that I had to be somewhere so that he would leave…WTF!!!

On August 4th, while performing, Drake fell to the stage further damaging his torn ACL. (Drake tore his ACL back in June playing basketball)

This is what he had to say about the incident: This bottle of Opus One is low but my spirits are high my friends. I am about 2 hours away from Toronto, CA where I will be spending the next chunk of time recovering from a surgery that I now must have. I embarked on this tour with a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL and due to the events that happened the other night lord only knows what other damage I have done. I refuse to get comfortable, I refuse to fall in line and follow anyone else’s formulas. I still work as if So Far Gone had never dropped and I’m still trying to figure out how I’m going to gain entry to this game. “Missing someone gets easier everyday. Because, even though it is one day further from the last time you saw each other, it is one day closer to the next time you will”

Just when you thought you wouldn't hear anything else about this ex- couple, they hit us again. Rihanna ask the court to lift the restraining order issued to Brown that currently prevents him from coming within 50 feet of her!

Could this mean a reunion for the couple. Thanks to our trusty tabloids, as of late they have been spotted in the same locations but seemed to have no interaction. Coincidence or planned? I say they are going to get back together but we will have to stay tuned to find out!

Brown was also sentenced to 5 years probation and 1400 of community service.

Hey everyone. It's Xtina. I had my yearly check up today and I also got tested! I do this once a year and I have been since my freshman year of college. It is not bad and it does not take long...and it's not even that painful. If you are sexually active in any way or form, then you should make it a routine to be tested for the safety of you and your partner. If you are going to act like an adult, then be an adult and get your test!!! Have a great evening!

Welcome to What a Day...Everyday!!!

Hello Hello...Xtina here!!! I first would like to welcome everyone to "What a Day...Everyday!" Today is the launch for me and Vikki's blog! At "What a Day...Everyday" you will find info on music, fashion, sports, health, celeb-gossip, our life experiences, and anything else we can think to blog about!!! If you are wondering where the name for our blog came from well I will share that with you. Since 2006, I have been saying I need my own TV show because my life is just that eventful. If I ever had a show I said I would name it, "What a Day...Everyday" because there seems to be something unreal, random, or just plain crazy happening in my life almost EvErYdAy!!! Now that we are starting this blog (YouTube Channel coming soon) I will let you guys be the judge of that.
